Chopper Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Coast
An aircraft hovering near a popular coastal beach abruptly started spinning wildly, eventually losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm fronds as spectators observed.
Footage shared on the internet capture the aircraft starting to spin near Huntington Beach then plunging near the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a staircase adjacent to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Details
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the incident on the weekend.
Three people on the road were harmed. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.

Authorities indicated the helicopter was connected to an annual “Cars and Copters” benefit occasion scheduled for the following day.
