'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year agreement he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the maiden major honor of his distinguished career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly consider extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
